International Quality of Life Awards
Student Ambassador

In December 2024, I had the honor of serving as one of nine student ambassadors for Auburn University's College of Human Sciences at the prestigious International Quality of Life Awards in New York City.
As part of our ambassadorial duties, we hosted the awards ceremony and an alumni networking event, celebrating the achievements of Auburn graduates and fostering connections with current students. The event culminated in an elegant ceremony at the iconic Rainbow Room, where we honored iconic fashion designer, Billy Reid, and Olympic Gold Medalist, Scott Hamilton, for their extraordinary contributions to enhancing the quality of life worldwide.
Beyond the awards ceremony, we embarked on a rich study tour of the city. Highlights of our trip included exploring the New York Stock Exchange, meeting Joel Berg, the CEO of Hunger Free America, tasting and touring Chelsea Market and The High Line, and discovering Gramercy Tavern through a back of house tour paired with an exceptional dining experience.

The trip was also a remarkable opportunity to meet Auburn alumni who have made significant strides in their careers. Listening to their stories of success and hearing how Auburn shaped their journeys was both inspiring and motivating.
This unforgettable experience highlighted the importance of collaboration, innovation, and service—values I aspire to bring into my personal and professional life.
