RxBenefits, Inc. is a pharmacy benefits optimizer that partners with employee benefits consultants to help self-insured employers manage their pharmacy benefit plans. This team helps connect RxBenefits’ values with meaningful service and engagement opportunities for employees.
Community Engagement Intern
During my internship at RxBenefits as a Community Engagement Intern, I supported the company’s commitment to social impact by assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of various community outreach initiatives. Reporting to the Community Engagement Manager, I helped organize city service projects by identifying nonprofit partners, coordinating logistics, and creating volunteer opportunities for employees. I contributed to event planning efforts, supported employee resource group (ERG) programs, and gathered participant feedback to improve community initiatives.
Additionally, I maintained and updated the RxBGivesBack platform (Benevity) by creating sign-up links, managing monthly headers, and publishing news articles. I also helped create and design content for the monthly Community Engagement Newsletter, fostering awareness and participation among employees. Through timely communication via the Community Engagement inbox, I ensured employee inquiries were addressed, promoting a strong connection between RxBenefits and the communities it serves.
