Auburn Panhellenic Council
The Panhellenic Council strives through thought, word, and action, to uphold the traditions, fine standards, and values long held by Auburn women. The members of the Panhellenic Council stand for academic excellence, social responsibility, leadership, and service to our college campus and community. Panhellenic members believe that the highest level of trust should exist between individual chapters and their members, fostering a spirit of friendship and harmony. These are the ideals which will establish a legacy for future generations of Auburn women.

Vice President for Recruitment
I had the privilege to serve as the 2024 Vice President for Recruitment on the Panhellenic Executive Board. In this role, I oversaw a team of 8 officers on the Recruitment Executive Board and 18 chapter recruitment teams. My main responsibility was to plan and organize recruitment events in both the spring and fall. In the spring of 2024, we selected and trained 133 Recruitment Counselors, who played a crucial role in guiding freshman girls through the recruitment process in the fall. Additionally, through our Continuous Open Bidding process, we welcomed 30 new members into the Panhellenic community. Following our successful fall recruitment, we proudly accepted 1,997 new members into the community with a 95% rate for matching girls to chapters, a 3% increase from the previous year.
This role has strengthened my ability to work with a team as well as manage time under pressure. This role required constant preparedness, especially during high-pressure situations. Prior to serving as the Vice President for Recruitment, I served as a 2023 Recruitment Counselor where I led a group of 15 girls through the primary recruitment process. Embracing the challenges inherent in this role, I was committed to executing the Fall 2024 recruitment process with an unwavering dedication to fostering a positive and enriching experience for all involved.
Recruitment Counselor - Pi Chi
In the spring and summer of 2023, I had the opportunity to serve as a Pi Chi, or recruitment counselor, for Auburn University’s Panhellenic Council. In this role, I was entrusted with guiding and supporting a group of 15 potential new members (PNMs) through the entire sorority recruitment process. As a Pi Chi, I temporarily disaffiliated from my own sorority to provide unbiased advice and create a safe, supportive environment for the PNMs.

Throughout the process, I acted as a mentor and resource, helping the girls navigate the emotional highs and lows of recruitment, understand the values and traditions of the Panhellenic community, and make informed decisions that aligned with their personal goals and values. I was available around the clock for any questions or concerns they had—whether they needed help preparing for recruitment events, wanted to talk through their options, or simply needed someone to listen.

This experience strengthened my leadership and interpersonal communication skills, and taught me the importance of empathy, discretion, and fostering a sense of belonging. It was incredibly rewarding to watch each of the girls grow in confidence and ultimately find a chapter where they felt at home.
